EPICA: Brazilian TV Appearance Available Online

Dutch gothic metal sensation EPICA's appearance on the Brazilian TV show "Programa Do Jô", which was taped on November 17, has been posted online at this location.

Described as "the South-American equivalent of the 'Late Night Show with David Letterman'," " Programa Do Jô" reportedly draws approximately ten million viewers every day. EPICA made their debut on the program this week, taking part in both a performance and an interview.

EPICA have been very successful in South America and Asia for quite some time, but when it comes down to media attention, the invitation they received from "Do Jô" now is an absolute zenith. "Not only for EPICA, but for Dutch music in general," states Hans van Vuuren, general manager of EPICA's record company, Transmission Records. "It's unique in the history of Dutch metal that EPICA gets broadcasting time on such a large scale."

EPICA will shortly kick off a European tour, after which they will be close off the year by embarking on a South American trek, including dates in Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
